I’ve prayed for health and for protection

For my family and my wife

I’m thankful for the Lord above

Who shines His light upon my life

I’ve prayed for guidance and for wisdom

I’ve prayed for foes and prayed for friends

Because I know the love of the Lord above

Whose boundaries know no ends

I always have believed in God

Now I know He believes in me.

I once was lost, but now I’mfound

Was blind but now I see

By faith I walked the winding road

That led me where I am today

Now I’m living in the world 

Of the prayers I used to pray

And that He brings peace to you

That He always believes in you

Lay your worries at His feet

With assurance from the Heavens
