V1.

Destination unknown. Said I’ll see y’all around

In monotony I’d lost my self, and I needed to be found

When the winter snow began to fly, I never had a doubt

So I hopped into the Jeep of mine and started driving south.

With every mile driven I could feel it within my reach

And I sang along with the radio until my feet were on the beach

After Corpus Christi Texas I recovered the man I used to know

Didn’t know where I was going, but knew I had to go.

Chorus

After Corpus I bought myself a boat, and I sailed our southern shore

After Corpus I saw things in myself that I’d never seen before

After Corpus I learned lessons on just how I was supposed to live

You make a living from what you get, but you make a life from what you give

And out here I’ve finally found my purpose

After Corpus.

Bridge

Winds of changes blowing when I docked back in Corpus Christi Bay

There was something in the water when I saw your face that day.

In your eyes I realized a new journey was about to start

My time at sea had healed me so that I could give you all my heart
