I look back fondly on the past

When the future isn’t clear

I’ll push on toward all I prayed for

Because I can’t live life in fear.

Can’t fall back into what I escaped from

It’s a slippery slope back to there

Gotta stop staring up the steps

And start stepping up the stairs.
