My cousin “Smiley” wasn’t smiling

He’s just trying to grin a bear it.

And my favorite uncle “Grin”

Was lying in that open casket

His friend was in tophat and tails

Couldn’t believe that he would wear it.

My uncle’s prized possession

Was his tuxedo wearing ferret

The ferret didn’t have a name

But they went everywhere together

Never knew Uncle Grin had millions

But we found out in a letter

That the money went to the weasel

And whoever would take care of it

But that ain’t the whole story

Ol’ Smiley owed the dealers

His drug habit had a need

He’d stolen all the money

From his days of runnin’ weed.

Somewhere between the funeral

And the grave, Ferret went missing

Grin and Ferret both are in that plot

At least that’s what we’re guessing
