Lying here I wonder what happens

When you cross to the other side

Wondering if I’ll get another chance

To make one final ride

Things that I’d do different

Or stuff I’d keep the same

Blessing all the ones I love

Reckoning with the ones I blame

Truth be told I’d probably do

Far more good than harm

It would be fun watching my enemies

As they sound all their alarms

If I just used my powers for good

Is the afterliife for reflection

And a chance to really grow

Armed with a lifetime of perspective

And hindsight of things that I now know.

I’d strike out all my enemies

By throwing them this curve

I’d kill them all with kindness

Instead of dealing what they deserve.
